This trophy hunter added another feather to its capsule at Cuvée 2008, when it was chosen as ‘Best Limited Edition Red’ by the most discerning, picky, cantankerous judges of all: the winemakers of Ontario themselves.

Every year the winemakers gather to collectively judge the quality of wines in the province during an intensive set of blind tasting trials. When the scores were tallied and the winners announced, the 2004 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon gracious, and gratefully accepted its award, given to the best red wine of the competition that had a total case production of less than one hundred cases.
