Consistently producing structured, cellar-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon from Niagara can be a difficult task, making the unique microclimate of the St. David’s Bench a very exciting place to be. This appellation is rapidly emerging as one of the best sites in Niagara for red wines, superimposing pure fruit flavours onto a sinewy, elegant structure.
The 2006 Reserve is a blend of eight barrels sourced entirely from our Queenston Road Vineyard. An extensive barrel selection process was undertaken to create a wine typifying the ripe, robust refinement that marks the appellation as one to watch.
