Laura White escapes the confines of pre-scripted blends to present an improvisational fusion of white varietals from a given vintage year. Exciting, creative, and expressive, this blend is bottled in honour of its namesake: Creekside owner Laura McCain.
The 2007 vintage Laura White brings together an eclectic cast of barrel fermented and aged actors, each selected for their avant-garde attitude and unique presentation of varietal character. Harmonious, integrated, and intriguing, the final ensemble layers a base of intensely stylish Sauvignon Blanc and elegantly structured Chardonnay with the delicate aromatics of Viognier, the focus and zest of Riesling, and quirky exuberance of natural “wild” fermented Pinot Gris.
