Don’t think that pink equals sweet. While its good looks certainly are a force to be reckoned with, our 2007 Pinot Noir Rosé emerged from the Butler’s Grant vineyard to shed syrupy stereotypes and champion the traditional dry Rosé cause. Backing up beauty with svelte strength and loads of red fruit personality, this Rosé can inspire you solo or in the company of food. Cast aside your preconceived notion of Rosé, this wine defies conventions!

4.0 Stars — 2007 Pinot Noir Rosé
Rod Phillips, Winepointer, Dec. 2008
This is a lovely rosé and just the sort of wine you need to lift your spirits as you contemplate the horrors of winter and the holidays. If you love winter and the holidays, this is just what you need to keep the faith. It’s dry, with the merest hint of sugar, very well balanced, and with bright and complex flavours. Sip it alone or drink it with baked ham or roast turkey.
4.0 Stars — 2007 Pinot Noir Rosé
Christopher Waters, VINES Magazine, Fall 2008
Produced largely with Pinot Noir for the Butler’s Grant vineyard in Vineland (with a small addition of Pinot Gris) Creekside’s new dry rosé is in a different dimension. Now bottled under screwcap, this fresh and vibrant Rosé reveals a tart, tangy candied flavour that would be familiar to fans of Jolly rancher candy. (Don’t think for a second that this is a sweet wine, it shiveringly refreshing).
