See Harvest First Hand

Harvest time is one of the best times to take a trip out to wine country. With fruit arriving by the truckload, the excitement of all the pressing, fermenting, and barrel work makes for a great inside peek at how Creekside’s award-winning wines are made. There’s nothing like getting up close and personal with the grapes that will later appear in a Creekside bottle. Cheer on the production team and get a very early look at what will be the 2009 vintage wines from a great vantage point on The Deck, which provides an excellent view of all the bustle on the crush pad.
Speaking of The Deck @ Creekside , we’re still whipping up fantastic local fare on the weekends right through until October. Enjoy some of Chef J. Mark Hand’s critically acclaimed creations, like the House Smoked Atlantic Salmon appetizer, or the Hand Cured Duck Breast ‘Pizza’, all while enjoying a glass of Creekside wine and watching as the grapes roll in. Get the full winery experience this harvest!
If you’re unable to make it out to the winery, don’t feel left out! The Cellared Life, Creekside’s production blog, will give you the inside scoop online. Ask questions, leave comments, and be a part of Creekside’s virtual crush crew by interacting directly with the production team. Written by the winemaking team, with zero marketing ‘assistance’ (interference?), you can be sure to read some of the more colourful anecdotes to come out of crush and get some insider tips and info about the wines.
