68% Clone 1 and Clone 100 Shiraz, 4% Viognier. Fruit was harvested late October from our Queenston Road Vineyard in St. David’s Bench vineyard. The Viognier and Shiraz were co-fermented in small bins, with manual punch-down of the caps followed by full malo-lactic fermentation in barrel. The wine was then put in to French oak barrels (45% of the lot was new barrels) and aged for 22 months. The final blend was bottled September 12th 2009. Recommended drinking 2011 to 2016.
