We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a go at a rich expression of Niagara Malbec. The heat and long growing season of 2007 got these grapes in tip top shape. Small batch fermented in one ton bins with manual punchdown of the cap and malolactic fermentation in barrel, this small block of Malbec got the Reserve treatment and it didn’t disappoint! Nearly two years in 100% American oak and some extended bottle aging have given it time to come into its own as a weighty, yet structured explosion of dark fruit and chocolate. 110 cases produced.
