The Cabernet Franc was harvested Oct. 27th from the Serluca Family Vineyard and came in particularly ripe this year.
Fermented in a stainless steel tank and then into barrel after pressing where it aged for 16 months. A combination of equal parts French and American oak. 15% new wood with the rest slightly older to let the fruit really shine.
Pair with smoked duck breast, lamb bolognese linguini, grilled striploin, and sharp cheddar cheese.
