2017 vintage started out as a difficult year. It was a summer of lots of rain and less than ideal weather, but by the fall, everything turned around and the sun came out and saved the harvest. Managing crop levels was important but that slow and steady ripening and a gorgeous fall lead to a red wine with elegance and great ageing potential. We vinified each block separately and underwent our regular rigorous selection process of parceling out Broken and UNBroken Press wines.
