2020 was a dream of a vintage, producing wines with great intensity and balance. Malbec from Ontario is a rare and beautiful thing! There’s a certain character that comes from this region – think violets and wild blackberries, a rustic gaminess and earthiness with a mild spice background. It’s just so pretty we had to share this on its own with you.
- Nose
Wild blackberries, black cherry, earthiness and violet botanicals come together to make an intriguing and perfumed nose.
- Mouth
The palate is ripe and elegant with lots of blackberry, thyme, and an umami rich black trumpet mushroom note combined with a slight hint of oak spice.
