If you know our iconic Broken Press Syrah, meet its untamed sibling. The name “Unbroken” doesn’t mean we fixed anything—it means we left out the Viognier that usually softens Broken Press. What you get here is 100% Syrah, pure and unfiltered in personality. No gentle floral lift, no soothing touch—just raw, brooding Syrah power in all its glory.

This wine is a masterclass in umami. From the first swirl, savoury notes leap out of the glass: think sweet teriyaki, salty soy sauce, and a dusting of allspice. Dark berry fruit adds depth, giving the wine a plush, fruit-driven core to balance its savoury complexity. On the palate, it’s layered, brooding, and unapologetically bold—the kind of Syrah that makes you want to pour another glass just to chase down its flavours.

Well, we didn’t “unbreak” anything: the bad pun refers to the fact that, while Broken Press features a bit of co-fermented Viognier for complexity, the UNBroken is 100% Syrah, pure and proud from our Queenston Road Vineyard. What’s the diff? Without gentle, sweet Viognier to soothe its fevered brow, Syrah’s inherent brooding power rages unchecked, untamed and yes, UNBroken.
