The 2024 Backyard Bubbly is bright, juicy, and unapologetically fun—starting with that classic savoury edge (think fresh peas and a hint of asparagus) before diving headfirst into a fruit-forward splash of grapefruit, Meyer lemon, and pineapple. It’s lively, a little off-dry, and finished with a crisp pop of bubbles that keeps things refreshing from first sip to last.
Fermented in stainless steel with a secondary fermentation in tank, this sparkling Sauvignon Blanc balances zippy acidity with just enough sweetness to keep things easy, breezy, and dangerously drinkable.
Made for patios, picnics, and anything that involves sunshine—or at least pretending there is some.

The 2024 vintage started off with early bud break, with the season continuing to be nice and warm. The wines from this vintage show great intensity and concentration with a certain elegance and complexity. Picked in early September just as flavours in the grapes started to peak. Secondary fermentation was done in tank. This is the ideal spring and summer wine! Or drink in the deep depths of winter to be reminded of sunnier days.
The nose opens with the savoury, vegetal side of Sauvignon Blanc showing peas in the pod and fresh asparagus before it is overtaken by copious amounts of ripe fruit. Ruby red grapefruit, Meyer lemon, and pineapple dominate. The palate is juicy and inviting with pineapple, grapefruit, lemon candy with hints of papaya and mojito (yes, mojito). Slightly off dry to bring the fun and good vibes while balancing acidity and lively bubbles.
Sweet chili shrimp, fish tacos, summer salads, prosciutto and melon, marinated goat cheese, brunch, backyard shenanigans.
