2016 was a hot, dry vintage: perfect for big, bold reds like this one. Lees and “tippings” are collected from all of our top-end red barrels and then combined to age further in their own barrels. Aged for a total of 6.5 years before we felt it was ready to bottle. It’s incredibly sophisticated and concentrated – a truly special wine.
